Out With The Old.....

Happy New Year Folks!! Its Friday!! And Jean Day at work!! Two days of jeans at work- whoohoo!! My bestie just started a blog- go check it out!! Since it is New Years Ever, and I am doing this whole finding myself journey, and 2011 is a big year for me (I'll be hitting the big 3-0- shhhh-don't tell anyone), I am introducing my 29 before 30 list. I got the idea from Kendra. It is a list of things I would love to do before I have that big birthday.

29 before 30
1. Keep a journal
2. Pay off all credit cards
3. write a book
4. take a girls only vacation
5. complete a 30 for 30 challenge
6. stop eating fast food
7. stop drinking cokes
8. read BOM from start to finish
9. Lose 20 lbs
10. read some classic novels like Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre
11. start speaking the Spanish I have been learning
12. volunteer at my kids school more
13. start sewing again
14. wear colored tights
15. go somewhere i've never been
16. run a 5k
17. grow my hair long
18. go on a beach vacation w/ just my hubby
19. learn to shoot a gun
20. learn to cook mexican food
21. be a better wife, mother, and friend
22. go on bike rides with my kids
23. get ALL the laundry in my house done
24. spend a whole day in bed w/ my hubby
25. watch Gone With The Wind
26. Get A's in all my classes
27. take a mother/daughter vacation with my mother and my daughter
28. wear jewelry everyday
29. Be happy with the first 30 years!!



Ok so there it is!! My goals for the upcoming year of my life!! Thanks to all my new blog friends I have made over the past couple months! I hope you all have a safe and happy new year!! And remember, if you are going to drink, don't drive; and if you are going to drive, don't drink!!

good luck with your 29 before 30!It's a great list. I always find myself wishing I would read more, especially the classics.

What a great idea! Too bad I'm old now. 31. And I just made one resolution this year. But I'm okay with that. Can't wait to hear the updates as you cross off all 29 this year!
